Versatile training facility with comprehensive services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Archipelago School is located in Houtsk\u00e4r in the church village of N\u00e4sby. Here, in the midst of the wonderful archipelago of \u00c5boland, you will find a versatile training facility with comprehensive services in a scenic location. We offer food, accommodation, versatile spaces, and programs suitable for various types of courses, events, camps, and writing schools.With us, you can also organize conferences and meetings. Our capacity to accommodate guests (approximately 150 bed spaces) is unique in archipelago conditions, and our large educational and meeting spaces are equipped with modern A\/V technology. At the Archipelago School, excellent service, beautiful nature, and exquisite food come together.Throughout the summer season, we offer Bed & Breakfast<\/a> for travelers, and by agreement, it’s possible to visit us year-round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Houtsk\u00e4r is a gem in the archipelago sea with incredibly beautiful environments and nature. The sea is always close, and one can always enjoy the fantastic landscapes and nature that the archipelago offers. In Houtsk\u00e4r, around 500 people live year-round, and significantly more during the summer months. Houtsk\u00e4r offers a wide range of culture, culinary experiences, and services.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Accommodation and conference facilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We have a large accommodation capacity, with 152 bed spaces distributed across 52 different rooms in 5 dormitories and several cottages. Shared toilets and washing facilities are just a few steps away. Down by the shore, where the sun sets, we have a wood-fired sauna, and one of the larger dormitories also has an electric sauna.We have a spacious conference room (approximately 80 people) and several smaller meeting rooms with free WiFi.Book your visit and come enjoy the \u00c5boland archipelago with all its possibilities.All meals are prepared from fresh ingredients, and we bake our own bread. The kitchen has the ability to accommodate even the most challenging diets, creating delicious food that highlights the flavors of the ingredients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Programs and activities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For groups, we arrange traditional sailing (old homemade skiffs), nature trail walks (5-7 km hiking in nature through typical Houtsk\u00e4r villages, concluding at the Borgberget viewpoint), visits to the Houtsk\u00e4r Archipelago Museum, and a cultural trail in N\u00e4sby. We also offer a modern sports hall where you can play floorball, volleyball, basketball, and dance.In spring and autumn, there are plenty of large fish such as pike, perch, zander, whitefish, and sea trout. Come and catch your dream fish and stay in our accommodation cottages.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
